Christine Counsell is Director of Education at the Inspiration Trust (a multi-academy trust in Norfolk) and for 20 years led the Cambridge University History PGCE. She is an internationally recognised authority on curriculum development, the history of education and training new teachers.
Christine will be addressing the issue of curriculum leadership. Schools exist to pass on knowledge to the next generation. So why is knowledge - its nature, structure and role - not at the centre of school leadership considerations?
This meeting will begin at 7pm sharp. Please allow up to 20 minutes to get through security. The event is open to everyone, whether or not they are members of the Society or the Conservative Party. Spaces are strictly limited.
